A very old style massage treatment that has recently come back into fashion. Also called Geothermotherapy, hot stone massage is a healing massage that promotes many physiologic effects. The stones are volcanic stones called basalts, which come in different sizes, shapes and temperatures. Basalts are recharged in sea salts and moon light and cleaned and sterilized between every treatment. It is a full body massage from toes to head. It is believed that the stones release mineral traces (calcium, iron, zinc, potassium etc.) in the oil when the therapist is working with them on the body.
